Oregan Networks Shortlisted for ConnectWorld.TV Awards
Oregan Networks is pleased to announce that our Onyx media browser has been named a finalist in the Building Block category of the ConnectedWorld.TV awards, with the winner to be announced at a gala presentation on 12th September at IBC in Amsterdam.
ConnectedWorld.TV Awards celebrate the creativity of broadcasters, independent producers, technology companies and consumer electronics manufacturers pioneering the business of 'content everywhere'.
The Building Block award looks at the innovative components, software, modules or sub-systems that will help shape successful products and services of the future.
Oregan's browser-based approach to Over The Top (OTT) services delivery is growing in popularity with leading commercial and public content service providers, such as Amazon Lovefilm, BBC and Blinkbox available via the Onyx browser, on Digital Stream DPS-1000 set-top box and Cello TVs in the UK and Sharp TVs in Italy.
More than 150 entries were received from organisations in 27 countries across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
The ConnectedWorld.TV awards gala dinner will be held at the Hotel Okura Amsterdam on Monday 12th September.
